Your subscription is billed by M2 TECHNOLOGIES LLP or Kulhansh Labs Private Limited. Your UPI app shows which company your mandate is with.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AutoPay Alert mobile application ("App") and related websites, support channels, and services (collectively, the "Service") offered by M2 TECHNOLOGIES LLP ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App or Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App or Service.
1.1 By using the App you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1.2 We may revise these Terms at any time. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the App or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
2.1 The App reads incoming SMS on your device (and, with separate optional permission, notifications from a fixed list of UPI apps) to detect and display recurring payments, subscriptions, mandates, and spending, and provides alerts and related features (the "Service"). Premium features require a paid subscription.
2.2 Features, supported apps, languages, content, and availability may change, be added, paused, or removed at our discretion.
2.3 AutoPay Alert is a detection and alerts tool. We are not a bank, payment system operator, or licensed payment aggregator. We do not hold, transmit, or settle funds on your behalf. Payments to us are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"); all mandate processing occurs through your UPI app and bank.
3.1 You sign in with Google and must provide accurate information.
3.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity under it. Notify us at support@autopayalert.in if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3.4 You remain responsible for verifying debits, amounts, and mandate schedules with your bank or UPI app. Alerts are informational aids only.
3.5 We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms or suspected misuse.
4.1 The App requests permissions such as SMS read, notification access, and network access. Grant only those needed for features you use.
4.2 Alert delivery depends on your device settings, battery optimisation, operating system, network, and SMS formats. We do not guarantee that every debit will be detected, that alerts will be instantaneous, or that amounts and merchant names will always be accurate or complete.
4.3 Third-party UPI and banking apps are operated by their providers under their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages, delays, or policy changes.
4.4 Raw SMS content is not uploaded. With separate, optional consent, you may share derived redacted templates or parsed business names to improve detection and merchant matching; these controls can be turned off independently.
You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App; use bots or scrapers; use the Service for unlawful purposes or to misrepresent payment or mandate status; resell or commercially exploit the Service; interfere with the Service; or impersonate AutoPay Alert. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6.1 Premium features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, any trial and its fee, and included features are disclosed on the checkout screen before you complete a purchase.
6.2 Subscriptions are collected through a UPI AutoPay (recurring) mandate processed by Razorpay. You authorise the mandate yourself in your UPI app with your UPI PIN; your UPI app shows the maximum amount and frequency before you approve. Razorpay's and your bank's terms may also apply.
6.3 Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period, either by revoking the UPI AutoPay mandate in the UPI app you used to set it up or from Manage subscription inside the App, as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. You are responsible for managing renewals and cancellations.
6.4 Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
6.5 We may change pricing or plans with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance unless you cancel before the change takes effect.
Purchases and subscriptions are subject to our refund and cancellation rules. Unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by us, fees are non-refundable. Read the full Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8.1 We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, misuse, non-payment, or as required by law.
8.2 You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at /delete-account. Deleting your account does not by itself revoke a UPI mandate; revoke it in your UPI app.
All content, software, designs, and trademarks in the App are owned or licensed by M2 TECHNOLOGIES LLP. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy or completeness of alerts. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, missed or delayed alerts, reliance on alert content, or disputes with banks or payment providers. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M2 TECHNOLOGIES LLP, its partners, officers, and employees from claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or disputes regarding your recurring debits or mandates.
By creating an account you acknowledge that we may contact you for account-related, transactional, and support purposes by email, in-app notification, push notification, SMS, or WhatsApp, including payment confirmations, subscription updates, and service announcements. Promotional communication is sent only if you opt in, and you may withdraw consent by writing to support@autopayalert.in.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
